What is The Jill Dando News Centre?
April 2019 marked 20 years since the untimely death of Jill Dando. Students from schools across The Priory Learning Trust have taken inspiration from her journalistic work and created a legacy in her home town. Every week budding journalists meet at The Jill Dando News Centre to interview, write, photograph, film and edit the latest “hot off the press news”.

Sonny Cox is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for Weston-super-Mare, currently on loan from EFL League Two club Exeter City AFC.
The 17 year old forward spoke to student editor Joshua Keyes after hte seagulls 6-0 win over Hendon FC where Sonny scored an incredible hatrick.
Interview with Paralympian Darren Harris
Darren Harris is a double Paralympian and England’s most capped and most decorated blind footballer on a mission to help ordinary people do extraordinary things. Over the past decade, he has inspired thousands of young people through his work on various programmes with organisations such as the Dame Kelly Holmes Trust, Sports for Schools and Sport England amongst others.
