Good morning Willow class, I really enjoyed seeing your potato book characters during our assembly. A huge thank you for all you hard work during home learning and we look forward to seeing your smiley faces on Monday.
Maths- Draw 2D shapes, year 3 this will be a recap for you. Video links are under the Maths heading below and I have attached a worksheet at the bottom of the page. Please use Topmarks to practise number bonds to 20 and to 100 . Also use TTrockstars to practise your times tables- yr2- 2, 5 and 10. Yr3 3,4 and 8.
Reading- Make sure you read something today a home book or an eBook from Oxford Owl. In addition to your reading there is a share a story on the world book day page where authors read the stories

Writing- I would like you to write about what Claude's next adventure might be? You could also design a book cover for this.
Choose another activity from the menu at the bottom of the page. You could make some biscuits, I have attached a recipe below.

PE - Don’t forget how important exercise is too, especially for those of you that are isolating at home. Why not start 2021 getting fit? Joe Wicks is back on You Tube each Monday, Wednesday and Friday morning. He is live at 9am, but you can do his workout any time of day, https://www.youtube.com/c/TheBodyCoachTV/featured. On Tuesdays and Thursdays why not try one of the challenges that TLE (our PE provider) has suggested. TLE Sports Coaching - YouTube . Don’t forget to take photographs to show your progress!

Writing- I would like you to write expanded noun phrases for what Claude may have seen in the city. An expanded noun phrase is where we put adjectives (describing words) in front of a noun (object) i.e. Tall, pointy skyscrapers.
